Dubai Hills Mall: Crafting calm amidst the chaos.

Opening its doors in February 2022, Dubai Hills Mall quickly established itself as a favourite shopping destination for residents and tourists alike. Yet while its 2,000,000 sqft of leasable space, 600 retail and dining outlets, and state-of-the-art entertainment facilities are undeniably impressive, it’s not the size that sets Dubai Hills Mall apart – it’s the thoughtfully crafted experience it offers.

To help realise this vision, our longstanding client, Emaar Properties, entrusted us to hand-build 112 artificial trees, ranging from 2.5 to 7.5 metres in height. Each tree – a mix of 53 olive trees, 39 ficus trees, and 20 plumeria obtusa trees – was crafted to convincingly mimic the appearance of their natural counterparts. Strategically positioned in high-traffic areas such as seating zones, atriums, and spacious walkways, these lifelike trees offer moments of respite and visual delight for shoppers.  

But our trees don’t just look good—they’re built to last. Engineered to withstand the demands of a busy retail environment, they’re as durable as they are beautiful. And with safety always top of mind, every tree features our FireSilx foliage, a patented, fire-retardant material that’s lab-tested and globally certified to meet the highest standards. Even when exposed to direct flames, FireSilx will not ignite, melt, or produce smoke, offering unparalleled peace of mind for both our client, and its end user.
